Social advancement refers to the shift in the social status of an individual from one class to another, or from one financial situation to another. The shift can either be an upsurge or a downhill.
This criterion allows citizens to hold officials accountable on scientific grounds in line with their aspirations.
In order to build a better country and to give you a true picture of the aspirations of all Lebanese, the Third Republic took upon itself the completion of the first complete study in Lebanon of the Lebanese social advancement criterion.
